Earlier this week, rapper Lil Xan’s concert was canceled and now, some new details about the reason why are being shared. What happened?
As fans know, the young artist was supposed to climb on stage on Wednesday night at The Pageant in St. Louis but in the end, the show never took place.
E! News was the one to share the news that the venue announced the concert was canceled due to some ‘unforeseen circumstances.’
Now, TMZ reports that the promoters and the venue decided to pull the plug on the concert after a video of someone threatening to open fire was posted.
The outlet stated that the promoters stumbled upon the clip which left them feeling nervous about going forward with the show.
E! News also claims that they contacted the police for details but they had no new info to give because there was no report.
While the Wednesday show was canceled because of the attack scare, the rapper performed the next night in Cincinnati without any problems.
In addition, he also has a few other shows scheduled for the upcoming days.
Lil Xan did not address the show’s cancellation online, but his fans were curious to see his latest tattoo on social media.
He took to Instagram Stories to tell them that ‘I carved Xanarchy into my skin.’

Later on, he shared pics alongside his tourmate, Phem.
She also posted a pic with Lil Xan that she captioned: ‘When u kno, u kno.’
The rapper then shared a similar pic, writing: ‘Equality for everyone. Xanarchy stands for positivity! @phem4evr.’
Thankfully, nothing terrible happened and only time will tell if the threat was even real or a very bad prank.
