Leaked ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 8 Footage Teases Another Stark Family Reunion

Aside from answering who will sit on the Iron Throne, one of the big mysteries heading into Season 8 of Game of Thrones is whether or not Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will reunite with his sister, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams). HBO has been extremely secretive about the final season, but new footage might confirm that Jon and Arya come face-to-face before it’s all over.
Jon and Arya have been on separate sides of the world since the first season. They almost crossed paths in Season 7, but Arya ended up reuniting with Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) in Winterfell after Jon left.

Jon was heading north to fight the walk walkers with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in the Season 7 finale, and new footage from the coming season confirms that he made it to Winterfell. Assuming Arya is still in Winterfell with Sansa, this is pretty clear evidence that she and Jon will reunite at some point.
The clip shows Jon hugging Sansa in what looks like an emotional scene. Arya was not shown in the clip, but it’s likely that she stuck around Winterfell to help with the coming battle.
If Jon and Arya do meet in the final season, it will be the first time since Season 1 that we’ve seen that many of Ned Stark’s children together again.

HBO has not nailed down an official premiere date for Season 8 of Game of Thrones. The show was expected to return early in 2019, though new reports claim that the premiere was just pushed back even further.
Either way, the network wants the final season to premiere before the annual cut-off for the Emmys, which is usually around the beginning of May. That means we have less than a year before the final season of Game of Thrones gets underway.
