Leah Remini slams her former faith once again! The actress revealed, in a shocking sneak peek at her LaPalme cover story, that Katie Holmes might lose her daughter Suri if she talks to her!
Remini claims that Tom Cruise’s former wife hasn’t thrown shade at the Church of Scientology and is not in contact with her for a very simple reason – she could lose custody of her child if she does!
As fans know, Katie and Suri, 12, are not members of the cult but their ex and father, respectively, is definitely a big part of it.
King of Queens actress and well-known anti-Scientology activist, Leah Remini, seems to have shared in her cover story for LaPalme magazine this statement about Katie Holmes’s situation.
Us Weekly was the first publication to share a sneak peek at the article, and while it seems like the actress did not explain how the religious organization would be able to take her daughter away from her, the claims are definitely very shocking.
‘I keep wondering — why haven’t Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman spoken out? I assume they were both forced to sign prohibitive documents. Trust me, Katie is not allowed to have a meal with me, and we used to be very close friends. She could lose custody of Suri. It is quite sick, really,’ Leah shared.
This is not the first time Leah claims members of the Church aren’t allowed to speak to her.
She’s actually explained before that she is considered a ‘Suppressive Person’ for leaving the faith.
In response to Remini’s claims, the Church of Scientology’s spokesperson Karin Pouw told the same outlet that: ‘Ms. Remini’s ridiculous rants are unending, and the myths and tales she and her co-producer spread have grown more bizarre by the day. They hire producers to rehash tired, preposterous myths invented and spread by the same handful of former Scientologists motivated by greed and anger.’
