Leah Remini Drags Tom Cruise - Says His Rant Was A Stunt!
Leah Remini has made a point of calling out the church of Scientology for years now. When you think Scientology, you most likely think of Tom Cruise .
Remini has caught wind of the viral audio circulating of Cruise yelling at crew members for violating social distancing guidelines on the set of the new Mission Impossible movie.
Many fans and celebrities alike agreed that he was right in trying to take the proper measures in order to continue filming the movie that's been delayed already.
However, Leah wants people to know that Tom is no hero. In fact, she believes the entire thing was staged.
'Tom does not care about the families of his crew; this is all for publicity. Tom does not believe in family values.'
She went on to say that the church doesn't even believe in COVID-19.
'Anything you see coming from Scientology and Scientologists, such as mask-wearing and supposedly humanitarian efforts, is just a show. It's for public relations reasons only.'
Remini added that that was the real Cruise who was yelling at the top of his lungs and it wasn't non-malicious.
'Tom's reaction that was released yesterday shows his true personality. He is an abusive person. I witnessed it, I've been a recipient of it on a small level, and I've been told of similar abuse by his former girlfriend, his employees, and his friends. This is the real Tom. Hearing a rich actor with enormous power address his crew in this way is a sign of weakness and a deeply troubled person.'
The Scientology and the Aftermath host also believes that he had someone from the church record his rant and leak it to the press in order to create this huge publicity stunt.
Meanwhile, Tom is taking a break from filming after the debacle caused multiple crew members to quit.
