Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed have already been married for no less than 18 months after getting to know each other on Netflix’s popular dating show titled Love Is Blind. Now, they thought it was time to update people on their journey of being married after seeing each other for the first time at the altar!
Did the experiment work? Are they happy a year and a half later even though they did not experience a conventional love story?
During a new interview with HollywoodLife, the couple dished on their relationship and here’s what they had to say!
When asked what he’d found surprising about Lauren in their 18 months of marriage, Cameron gushed that ‘I think one thing that surprised me about Lauren is that she’s so good in any situation really. Whether it’s being in front of the camera, in the spotlight or in our quiet life at home. Being a dog mom, or just going to Maine and visiting my family. She’s good in any scenario. So, I’m thankful that we can just be each other’s partners.’
As for Lauren, she explained that what surprised her the most was his ‘fun and playful’ side.
‘During the show I feel like stuff was so serious with us and intense. I’m so happy that after the show, after we settled in, he’s so fun and playful. People don’t realize Cam is so funny — literally keeps me laughing all day. So that’s definitely a pleasant surprise…He has a lot of personality and it’s great.’
The happy pair went on to reveal that their fans will soon be able to see more of their dynamic at home together since they are planning on starting their own YouTube Channel to post vlogs on.
‘We would definitely love to continue sharing our story and putting out content,’ Lauren stated.
