Larsa Pippen Officially Files For Divorce From Her Estranged Husband Scottie Pippen
After 21 years of marriage, Scottie and Larsa Pippen have officially filed for divorce. Larsa was the first to file the documents in a court of law according to Us Weekly.
A source explained, "Larsa and Scottie wanted to make it work, but they just couldn't make it happen. After Scott filed in 2016, it made things so awkward for them. Her choice to cheat on him with Future played a pretty big role in all of this. That wasn't a smart move on her part."
"There were a lot of problems in the marriage that weren't entirely resolved and were almost impossible to move on from." However, the source stated she and Scottie are still getting along for the sake of their kids.
In the documents filed in Los Angeles on Friday, November 2nd, the Real Housewives of Miami alum, 44, stated irreconcilable differences as the cause of their separation.
Larsa requested both joint spousal and child support, as well as joint legal custody of their four kids together. As fans of the couple know, they've had problems over the years. The 53-year-old NBA player first filed for divorce from Larsa in October 2016.
It was later stated by multiple publications that Larsa had cheated on Scottie with the rapper, Future. Sources claimed that "Scottie was devastated and embarrassed" by the reports.
Sources close to Larsa went on to say that she and the rapper were just friends. "A lot of people were saying that Larsa and Future were just pals, but in truth, everyone in their inner circle knew they were fooling around, and Scottie and Larsa have been struggling to make it work for ages."
"They have four children together, and they 've been together for a long time. It just wasn't going to work. There are too many unresolved dramas and tensions between them. It's surprising they even made it this long."
Larsa is most known for her role in the first season of Real Housewives Of Miami. Scottie, on the other hand, is known for his athletic prowess during his long NBA career.
