Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr's relationship is moving faster than ever with the recent announcement that they just got engaged. Like the general public, Lamar's son found out via social media.

Lamar has never denied that his children were his pride and joy but it's no surprise that his past as a drug addict got between their relationship. Since getting a new lease on life, the athlete has seemingly made his role as a father a priority -- or has he?

In the comments of the soon-to-be husband was Lamar Odom Jr. who left a comment that read: 'Not a text or a phone call to see how people who’ve know this dude his whole life to see how we would feel or react. Knew shawty for 4 months and already got you twisted. Family n friends already don’t approve of homegirl but already she got your ass inna sunken place. Shame family gotta find out on social media but that’s been how life been all the time as the son of an Odom.'

The 17-year-old was quick to admit his fault once the comment was picked up by blog pages and promptly apologized.

'Last night I was emotional seeing my father got engaged through social media. I was hurt and caught off-guard. At the end of the day, I am a teenager that is becoming a young man. I have to be responsible for what I post, I have nothing but love for my dad and want what’s best for him.'

By then, the damage was already done. Fans had noticed that the father and son have not appeared in a social media photo together since 2017.

Additionally, there was speculation as to why the couple is getting married so soon. Many people feel that Sabrina may be controlling a clueless Lamar.
