Lady Gaga Brings Haus Labs Makeup To Elle Magazine Cover
Lady Gaga covered Elle for the Dec. 2019 issue and photos and videos of the Grammy, Oscar, and Golden Globe winner are continuing to go viral. Lady Gaga wore her own makeup line, Haus Laboratories, on the cover and her eyes sparkled underneath an array of shimmering, silver hues. Styled by Sandra Amador, Lady Gaga wore Marc Jacobs and Gucci and donned a pale yellow hat with a lavender-colored scarf and looked like a breath of spring in the cold months.
Vogue editor Nina Garcia stated the following about Lady Gaga's cover.
"She has an Oscar and multiple Grammys, and now @ladygaga adds beauty entrepreneur and mental health champion to her résumé. For our December cover, Gaga sat down with @oprah to discuss her exponential career path. “I really view my career as a rebellion against all the things in the world that I see to be unkind. Kindness heals the world. Kindness heals people. It’s what brings us together—it’s what keeps us healthy.” Link in bio to read the full interview."
Lady Gaga posed with her hand on the hat that was accented with deep-burgundy, dried flowers. The color palette used was very floral and had a vintage 20s or 30s feel to it. The hat's brim had a large, sweeping brim that curved up in a wave and celebrity hairstylist Frederic Aspiras styled Lady Gaga's hair back in a complementary style that was slicked back. Even the darkened strands that had a wet look were accentuated with the overall outfit.
