As Kylie Jenner gets ready to give birth to her first child, she finds herself in a strange situation with her parent, Caitlyn.
The former athlete and activist had some harsh words for Kylie’s baby daddy in the past.
Caitlyn said rapper Travis Scott was not ready for fatherhood and she was surprised that Kylie decided to have a baby with someone she barely knew.
Kylie became pregnant after dating Scott for a few weeks.
An insider told Hollywood Life at the time: “Caitlyn was surprised and even disappointed to discover that Kylie is pregnant. She thinks Kylie is way too young to be a mom. Kylie should have waited until she was in the long-term committed relationship.”
The family friend added: “Caitlyn would have preferred for Kylie to wait ’til she was in her thirties, but Kylie has always dreamed of being a young mom, and she is crazy in love with Travis, so she did not want to wait any longer. Caitlyn is concerned that Kylie and Travis have not been dating for long. Cait feels that a baby will put a big strain on their relationship, but Kylie believes the exact opposite—that she and Travis will be together forever.”
A few months later, the pregnancy has finally sunk in, and Caitlyn had a change of heart and wants to be present when her grandbaby is born.
A second source shared: “Caitlyn is hoping to be in the delivery room by Kylie’s side. And if she is not, she predicts she will be in the hospital and be one of the first to see Kylie and meet her granddaughter, and she wants to help out and give Kylie anything she needs including advice, comfort, and support immediately.”
The person added: “If Kylie is happy, then Caitlyn is thrilled but has a hard time accepting her baby is an adult and having a child of her own. It is still crazy to Caitlyn that it occurred so quickly. She is still wrapping her brain around all of it. Caitlyn has mixed emotions over it all.”
It is being claimed that the makeup maven is not in a rush to reconcile with Caitlyn after the barrage of insults.
