Kylie Jenner made the Forbes billionaire’s list and received the amazing honor of being the youngest, self-made billionaire in history. The title was immediately met with criticism and skepticism by fans on social media networks who said Kylie was hardly self-made.
Growing up the child of Caitlyn (formerly Bruce Jenner) and Kris Jenner, Kylie was surrounded by the spotlight, paparazzi, and had plenty of financial resources to ensure a comfortable upbringing. Critics argue that due to her lavish childhood, and her parents’ wealth, Kylie Jenner was not a self-made billionaire but used the resources her parents afforded to her for her success.
In a new article with the German edition of Interview, Kylie Jenner defended being described as self-made.
She stated the following.
“There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that’s the truth. That is the category that I fall under.”
Kylie did understand that her circumstances were different and that she already had a target audience and market base due to her fame. However; Kylie did defend herself again by saying that her parents stopped giving her money when she turned 15-years-old.
She explained that she started Kylie Cosmetics with her own money therefore, she truly is a self-made billionaire.

Kylie Jenner addressed several other topics during her interview including whether she plans to put Stormi in front of the cameras on the reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWK). Kylie first appeared on the show at nine-years-old. Stormi Webster recently turned one.
Speaking about Stormi Scott’s future appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWK) Kylie Jenner stated the following.
“I am going to wait until she is old enough to make that decision for herself.”Advertisement
What do you think about Kylie’s decision to wait before letting Stormi Scott appear on the show? Do you praise her for not putting Stormi on the show? How do you feel about Kylie’s defense that she deserves to be called a self-made billionaire because she started Kylie Cosmetics with her own money?
