Kylie Jenner Doesn't Care About Being Called Drake's 'Sidepiece' In New Song
Kylie Jenner doesn't care that much about being compared to a "side-piece" by the Toronto artist, Drake, in one of his newly released songs . Us Magazine spoke with a source close to the entrepreneur who said that Kylie wasn't "upset" by Drake's choice of words.
As it was previously reported, the Toronto Raptors ambassador made headlines in May when a track he was reportedly working on went live on Instagram Live. Drake says in the song that he has "20 motherf*ckin' Kylies."
Later, Drake came out to address the media reports. He claimed it was recorded many years ago and it was "mistakenly featured" on one of his Instagram Live sessions. According to the rapper, it was leaked three years ago but it was dropped not long after.
Explaining himself further, Drake claimed that the last thing he wanted to do was upset any of the people closest to him. For that reason, he wanted to "start off the day" with the real story behind the song. As it was previously reported, the 22-year-old entrepreneur and Drake were briefly linked in October 2019 following her breakup with Travis Scott.
Travis and Kylie have a 2-year-old daughter together named Stormi. Us Magazine revealed in November 2019 that Drake and Kylie were more than just friends. An insider at the time said their relationship took a more "romantic turn" after a long period of flirting.
The same source explained that at Drake's Halloween party, they were clearly getting comfortable together, and they had been seeing each other more as a couple. Drake even showed up at Kylie's birthday party.
Apparently, Drake and Kylie have always had chemistry, the source said in November 2019. They've hung out together on occasion, and it only intensified over the last few months on account of her split with the Astroworld artist.
Furthermore, they live in close proximity so it makes it very easy for them to get together. With all that considered, Drake was linked to the model, Imaan Hamman, back in February of this year, so it appears that Drake is keeping his options open.
