KUWK: This Is The Real Reason The DASH Stores Have Been Axed
It's the end of an era. The Kardashian sisters have decided to close all of their Dash Boutiques. The reasoning behind it could be less practical than you think.
In a statement released on her app, Kim stated: "We’ve loved running DASH, but in the last few years we’ve all grown so much individually. We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on."
She added: "We have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years!"
It makes sense why the "KUWK" stars made the decision if you think about the fact that all three of them have busy personal lives and multiple business ventures.
In addition to being reality stars and moms, Khloe has launched Good American jeans, Kourtney has a collaboration with Pretty Little Things, and Kim is doing more than can be listed.
However, it may not be 100% voluntary. DASH isn't a place that people are knocking down the doors to buy the latest seasons' fashions.
According to Racked, customer feedback wasn't positive.
The website reports it was "empty and kind of dirty," the clothing quality didn't match the price, the service was bad, and even the bottles of water were too expensive.
It's obvious that the sisters won't miss the revenue from the store at all considering the millions they make each month.
They also won't have to quit working with each other, they collaborate all the time when it comes to Kim's makeup line among other things.
DASH boutique seemed as it was more of a tourist spot than an actual retail establishment.
Do you think this was a smart move? Have you ever purchased anything from DASH?
