Scott Disick and Tristan Thompson have one thing in common — being an outsider involved with someone with a closely knit family. Which is why it’s not surprising that he wasn’t going to exactly side with Kim Kardashian when it came to how she handled things during the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal.
If you’ve been “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” you’d know that the last episode followed the fallout between the family and the NBA baller after he was caught creepin’ with multiple women just days before Khloe Kardashian was due to give birth.
Khloe tried her best to keep everything calm while she welcomed her baby girl into the world but of course, Kim went into big sister mode once True Thompson made her entrance. The “KUWK” star, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kris Jenner all flew back to Chicago where the conversation with Tristan allegedly went left.
After the tense argument, Kim made an appearance on “The Ellen Show” that seemed to worsen things. After finding out that Khloe is avoiding her, Kanye’s wife confides in Scott.
“So I feel like Khloe is living a full double life. She’s in town and I just haven’t seen her. I just feel like Tristan’s here and she’s so nervous for him and I to see each other.”
She goes on to say that she gets into “protection mode” when something like this happens.
Scott breaks it down for her: “I think everybody wants to be protective of their family. I think sometimes when people get too caught up, when it’s like a negative protection and not always being there when the positive, then everybody feels kind of attacked.”
The 35-year-old also drew from his own experience when he added: “When your mom or Khloe would get involved with me and Kourtney’s stuff, it only would draw us farther away from the family. It never pulled anybody in and made people more comforted.”
Do you think Kim should step back? Is she just making things worse?
