Kourtney Kardashian is happy for her ex, Scott Disick since he’s changed for the better. Nowadays, he doesn’t party as much and is much more mature and responsible!

However, while she’s glad that change took place, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is also disappointed it did not happen when they were still together.

Kourt wishes she could have had a relationship with the new and improved Scott Disick since their problems when they were still together are totally gone today.

As fans remember, even after they had three kids together, Scott could not stop his wild party ways.

He would constantly host club openings, hang out with many other women aside from Kourtney and would get so drunk that he ended up in rehab in 2015.

This was also the year they ended their relationship for good, after many years of being on and off.

But now, while dating Sofia Richie, Scott is much more loving and loyal to her and has a stable career and life in general.

Seeing this, one source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Kourtney couldn’t be more proud of how far Scott has come and how much he’s matured these past few years. He really has stepped up and been the man she’s always known he could be. But a part of her feels it’s bittersweet because she struggled with his partying ways in the past while they were together and it was a challenge experiencing that side of him while they were together.’

They added that ‘Kourtney is absolutely grateful she has a happy, healthy co-parenting relationship with Scott now, and she knows what an amazing father he always has been. But it would have been nice to enjoy this new and improved side of Scott while they were still a couple. Nonetheless, she really does think Sofia is perfect for him and helped bring that side out in him and she’s not sure it would have happened any other way.’

Watching their rollercoaster relationship over the years; it seemed very appearant that they got together far too young. But, it was very clear that they were a match made in heaven. Sometimes it takes us "boys" a bit longer to find ourselves, to become "men" which seemed to be the story for Scott. Not too mention losing one parent, let alone two. After losing my Mom, I too found myself launching my life off into the dark side & living in the party scene more than I should have. Sometimes it just takes time, & a little push to get grounded. I think; had she went back with Scott that last time, they would've finally made it. Bad timing; too bad they make a great couple.
