The Kardashian-Jenner sisters don’t appreciate people telling them they haven’t worked hard for their wealth. That being said, following the huge backlash Kylie got for her youngest self-made billionaire title, Kim is defending both her half-sister and herself.
While at a charity poker game benefitting City of Hope National Medical Center today, the mother of three had a chat with ET about the scandal surrounding Kylie’s Forbes Magazine’s cover.
Kim started by arguing that while everybody ‘has a team’ as long as your wealth was not inherited or handed to you, that means you are ‘self-made.’
She went on by saying that it was Kylie who managed to figure out the road to becoming what she is today and so did Kim and the rest of the reality TV family.
But Kim was not the only one to open up about their hard work.
Their momager, Kris Jenner, and sister Kendall also talked to the outlet.
Kris made sure to praise her offspring for going on their own paths and making something of their name.
‘I am proud of all of my kids because they really have an amazing work ethic and they roll their sleeves up and do what they love to do, so that makes me happy. They all find their passion, and when that happens it’s magical,’ she stated.
She also argued that Kylie deserves her title as the youngest self-made billionaire and everything else she’s earned by herself.
‘She made her own money for over a decade, she put it in the bank, she saved every nickel. And then, when she decided on what she wanted to do, she spent her money on a venture that could have gone south or north, and it did really well,’ the proud mother concluded.
