The celeb took to social media to inspire her followers with some wisdom. Khloe Kardashian posted about happiness on her Instagram story today and her statement comes only days after she was slammed for claiming she does ‘not see color.’
‘Don’t ever feel bad for making a decision in your own life that upsets other people. You aren’t responsible for their happiness. You are responsible for your own. Anybody who wants you to live in misery for their happiness shouldn’t be in your life to begin with,’ the KUWK star shared earlier today.
Despite the fact that she did not mention what the message was related to or inspired by, it seems like it has to do with a backlash she dealt with a couple of days ago.
Khloe was really sick and tired of people commenting on her and Tristan Thompson’s daughter True’s skin color.
That being said, on Thursday, she decided to respond to a Twitter user saying: ‘I dislike the fact that people are just allowed to comment on my daughter’s skin color but as soon as I comment back kindly and praise her for all she is, the comment is erased. If you have courage to post your nasty criticism, please allow others to defend or comment back.’
In another tweet, she went on: ‘Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and I am not complaining about that. please do state your opinion but allow me to also State mine.’
But a third post was what caused the backlash.
‘I try to put myself in their shoes and maybe they were brought up in a different sort of household then I was. So instead of shaming, I actually try to educate. In our household, we don’t see color. We see emotion and action. We see love. We feed off of energy,’ Khloe wrote.
