Kristin Davis Says She’s Not Giving Up On Sex And The City Just Yet

Like everybody else, Kristin Davis was immensely disappointed that an additional Sex And The City Movie won’t come to fruition. As viewers of the series know, the reason why it didn’t happen was due to Kim Cattrall’s reluctance to participate in the third installment.
Kristin – who was hosting the Princess Grace Awards Gala on Wednesday night – was asked by reporters what she intends to do now that the movie isn’t happening and Davis revealed she’s not giving up on the series yet.
Davis said she is “grateful” and she knows all of her co-stars are thankful of all of their loving fans. She said, “we still, maybe we’ll figure something to do, I don’t know it, it would be great.”
Kristin added that she is sad they’re not making the film, but she loves the support and enthusiasm and is very grateful for the opportunities afforded to her.
As you may already know, executives at Warner Brothers Pictures canceled the plans to start filming, and several actresses took to social media to confirm the cancellation.
Kristin said “it is true” that they’re not making the third film even though she wishes deep in heart that it could happen.
In the end, Kristin is grateful for her time on the show and wants to thank all of the cast and production staff as well as the loyal fans who have stayed true to the series from the beginning.
Davis added that the show was groundbreaking due to the series focusing on four women as the leading characters and it ended up being a franchise lasting for over twenty years. As for Wednesday’s event, Kristin helped recognize several prolific Hollywood stars such as James Cameron among others.
