Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson Are All For A ‘Twilight’ Reboot To Be Made On Its 10th Anniversary!
Believe it or not, this year, Twilight is turning a decade! The very first movie premiered in November of 2008, and we have learned whether or not the stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson would love for a reboot to exist or not!
At the time, the entire world was paying close attention to the actors, both on the big screen but also to their real-life relationship.
Despite the fact that they are not a couple anymore, we have learned that the two think a reboot is a great way to celebrate Twilight’s ten year anniversary.
‘Rob and Kristen would love to see Twilight come back or be rebooted, but they’d love to see a TV show come out of it the most. And they’d totally be down to be part of it, but would only like to make an appearance over being fully cast in the project,’ one insider revealed.
The source went on to say that ‘They realize what the franchise did for their careers and would be happy to support it for a new generation to enjoy. They hope something gets off the ground.’
This news comes not too long after rumors that they are back together started going around.
Robert and Kristen were spotted drinking together at a bar, but we know that they are just friends.
Stewart is still dating model Stella Maxwell, and Robert and Katy Perry seem to have something going on, but a reunion of the beloved characters they played in Twilight would definitely satisfy their shippers.
Pattinson himself teased that he might be interested in appearing in a reboot after an exec of Lionsgate claimed ‘there are a lot more stories to be told,’ last fall.
‘Well, you never know. It did inspire me at the time. And, really, it is kind of awesome,’ Robert said during an interview, referring to whether or not he’d be willing to work on anything Twilight related again.
