According to Kris Jenner, her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, always knew what she wanted. Just a couple of days after Forbes put Kylie on the cover as one of the youngest ever “self-made” billionaires, Kris discussed the controversial cover photo.
Kris said, in actuality, Kylie was driven right from the start, and in her teenage years, she knew makeup was her passion. Kylie had a plan to create Kylie Cosmetics when she was 17-years-old, Kris Jenner explained.
The 62-year-old, who sat down with TMZ’s Harvey Levin in the next episode of OBJECTified, said her daughter sat down one morning and laid out her plan for the company.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star said that, after she created the company, “10 minutes later, her product was sold out.” As it was previously reported, Forbes put Kylie on the cover of their latest issue, and it stirred up a significant amount of controversy.
Many fans online claimed their use of the moniker, “self-made,” was a bit much, considering the Kardashian brand had already been created for Kylie, she just capitalized on it.
Due to Kylie’s appearances on Life Of Kylie, as well as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the young star is close to hitting the billion-dollar mark. The publication stated she’s on track for making it to the end of the year.
Jenner will break the record for becoming the biggest billionaire, even surpassing Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at just age 23 for the creation of his massive social media empire, Facebook.
Everyone in her family praised Kylie for the achievement, including the father of her child, Travis Scott, who said he couldn’t be “any more proud.” Weirdly enough, one fan created a GoFundMe page to generate another $100,000,000. While it was created with good intentions, it looks like Kylie won’t be needing such charity.
