Apparently, Kirk Frost’s paternity lawsuit was thrown out, but the reason is definitely not what you may have assumed. We have learned that it was all because of a pure technicality!
As you may remember, Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta celeb Jasmine Washington previously accused co-star Kirk Frost of being her son’s secret father.
Her suit, however, has been thrown out.
Judge Debra Turner decided to close the case not because it was proven that she had lied about the paternity but because Jasmine did not manage to hand the man the papers before the given deadline.
Jasmine took Kirk to court last year, claiming that her son Kannon was secretly fathered by Frost.
The woman also revealed that Kirk gave her money monthly as well as a car if she agreed to be with him.
However, after she welcomed their alleged son, and Jasmine wanted them to put an end to the destructive relationship, he denied the paternity, and cut her off financially as well.
The judge gave Jasmine no more than two weeks to find Frost and serve him with the lawsuit papers.
In the eventuality that she couldn’t do that, the case would be dismissed, which is precisely what ended up happening.
Jasmine claimed Frost was actually avoiding her and her attorney promised to get a warrant that’d force the man to accept her suit.
Jasmine managed to find him and give him the papers only two months after the deadline had already passed.
That means that the woman’s case is not set to go to court and we may never be sure about whether or not her boy was fathered by Kirk.
Meanwhile, Kirk Frost’s wife Rasheeda Jones let him over the supposed affair.
