Kim Kardashian's Fans Praise Her After She Tries To Stop The Execution Of Rodney Reed In Texas
Kim Kardashian became very influential over time and the proof lies in the fact that she was able to help more people get released from jail, as you may already know. Now, The Shade Room reveals more of what she is trying to do these days.
TSR revealed that Kim joined the people who are protesting the scheduled execution of Texas death row inmate Rodney Reed.
TSR details, 'For those of you who aren’t familiar with Reed’s story, Reed was convicted in a 1996 murder case and is scheduled to be executed on November 20th despite the fact that not only does he maintain his innocence, but that forensic experts say his guilt is medically and scientifically impossible, according to @innocenceproject. There’s also the fact that the murder weapon has never been tested for DNA.'
Just the other day, Kim posted on Twitter to show her support for Reed. She asked Texas Governor Greg Abbott to exonerate him.
Kim posted: 'I opened up my computer & opened up my email about a case I had recently been investigating, @FreeRodneyReed. I have been hearing about him and his story for the last week. On Nov. 20, Texas will execute Rodney Reed. I believe he is innocent.'
She shared another tweet in which she wrote: 'PLEASE @GovAbbott How can you execute a man when since his trial, substantial evidence that would exonerate Rodney Reed has come forward and even implicates the other person of interest. I URGE YOU TO DO THE RIGHT THING.'
People appreciate that Kim is trying to help and to use her influence to do good.
Someone said: 'She is doing so much good with her influence.'
Another follower posted: 'People still won’t cut her any slack when people of color who have the same platform if not a bigger one than her have yet to be as committed or show any effort into the exonerations of any prisoners. Kim has done a tremendous amount of good for a lot of people so far!! God Bless her and her family! ❤️'
