Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West joined protesters in Washington D.C. for the March For Our Lives protest held on Saturday, March 24, 2018. The march was organized by survivors of the Parkland school shooting and saw approximately one million people descend upon Washington D.C. in an effort to get Congress to act on gun control. Protesters want to see stricter regulations on gun laws as the Parkland shooter purchased his weapon legally. The Parkland shooting saw 17 people murdered and sparked fury nationwide.
Kim Kardashian has been vocal about gun control and often shares her thoughts on social media. On Saturday morning, Kim Kardashian shared her anticipation for arriving in Washington D.C. with her husband Kanye West and four-year-old daughter North. She stated she wanted to stand in solidarity with those marching for gun control in a Twitter post that you may see below.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are the parents of three children: North, Saint, and Chicago. As parents of children who will soon be in elementary school, the issue of gun violence is an important one to Kim.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted in D.C. where they joined fellow protesters. Kim also took several selfies with fans who were surprised to see the reality star show up at the event and protest with everyone else.
Kim and Kanye weren’t the only ones showing their support, as Kourtney Kardashian tweeted about the protest and showed she stood in solidarity not only with Kim but the millions who protested on Saturday.
Gun control has become a hot-button issue that’s separated the nation in further political divides. The Washington D.C. rally was the main location for the March For Our Lives protest and there were an additional 800 plus marches and rallies held across the nation.
