Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are balling out of control. People Magazine reported that the notorious couple purchased a new home in Palm Springs, California, expanding their real estate empire even further. The 39-year-old reality star and the 42-year-old rapper dropped $6.2 million for an undeveloped square of land in La Quinta, a resort city in the Coachella Valley.
The Los Angeles Times was the first to report that Kim and Kanye bought the property which is in the Madison Club. They first bought the house in late 2019, the outlet claims, stating that Kim and Kanye are now in possession of a piece of land in the same area that Kylie and Kris also have a home.
Reportedly, Kris Jenner purchased her 11,000 square foot property in the area for a whopping $12 million two years ago. Kris’ home in the area has since been featured on Instagram as well as on their reality series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kylie has her own property as well which cost her $3.25 million at the beginning of 2019. Despite the fact Kim and Kanye own several properties, they currently live in the Hidden Hills, California, along with their four kids, Psalm, Chicago, Saint, and North.
They purchased their Hidden Hills house back in 2014 for $20 million, but Kris states the value of the property has since tripled after they did renovations. Back in 2019, a source who spoke with People stated that Kim and Kanye bought another house in the area as well.
Moreover, the celebrity couple has another property which is 52 miles from Yellowstone National Park. It’s in Cody, Wyoming, where Kanye reportedly had a listening party for his record, Ye.
The purchase of the house in Wyoming wasn’t a big surprise to fans of the couple, considering they first revealed their intentions to do so in an interview with Vogue Arabia.
Additionally, reports have indicated that Kanye bought another house in Wyoming in November of last year. An insider who spoke with People claimed that whenever Kanye makes a big purchase, everyone in the area talks about it.
