Kevin Hart is in the middle of a promotional tour for his new movie, Night School, in which he co-stars alongside Tiffany Haddish, and during an interview, Kevin revealed why Katt Williams’ comments on Tiffany’s success were mean-spirited and unwarranted.
During his rant, Kevin dished on a few different, but very personal details, including Katt’s fall from the industry due to his substance abuse problems and bitterness.
When Kevin spoke with Charlamagne Tha God on The Breakfast Club on Friday, he addressed Katt’s cruel comments regarding Tiffany, where he stated that she didn’t deserve her fame.
Additionally, Katt expounded on Kevin, Lil’ Rel, Jerrod Carmichael, and a few others. As it was previously reported, Kat claimed Tiffany’s rise was due in part to her sleeping with rich, white, executives in Hollywood, rather than through the grind of comedy.
In Kevin’s expletive-filled monologue, he claimed Kat was a rising star in the industry at one time, but due to his lack of work ethic, determination, and insidious drug habits, he fumbled the ball.
“You became a risk to the studios, which is why the studios stopped f*cking with you!” the actor remarked. Moreover, Kevin took aim at the comic for being self-serving, rather than using his platform to help others beneath him.

As for what Tiffany had to say all about this, the star previously took to Twitter to say that Mr. Williams just needed a hug. She also added that she was looking forward to accepting an Emmy with him at this year’s Emmy Awards.
As fans of Haddish know, she’s developed a great reputation for herself in the industry as someone who’s great to work with, as well as talented and funny as anyone else.
