Kevin Hart made it a point to stick up for his sister-in-comedy Tiffany Haddish in her feud with Katt Williams. While defending her, Hart threw Leslie Jones’ name in the mix who went on an x-rated rant in return — something that shocked the “Jumanji” actor.
The 39-year-old was allegedly not expecting Leslie Jones to react the way she did when she went after both him and Katt Williams to Bossip.
According to Hollywood Life, the comedian is taking time to process what went down before he decides whether he should clap back or not.
The gossip site reports: “Kevin was shocked by Leslie’s attack on him, it totally floored him, he thought they were tight, so the diss completely came out of left field. Kevin prides himself on being a solid, stand-up guy, a good person, and over the years he’s given a lot of advice to fledging comedians, in addition to supporting them—so, Leslie’s attack on him really stung.”
The source is referring to the statement that the “SNL” actress made when she said that although Katt Williams did give her a spot on his tour, neither Katt nor Kevin actually help women in comedy.
She also said: “Real talk both of them ni***s need to keep my name out they mouth unless they using it to eat my p**** REAL TALK!! None of those ni**** put me on or any woman. While he talking about Katt what did he do to put women on he didn’t help females they wasn’t on his tour F*** THAT N****!! Kevin could have put me on a long time ago but he never respected me or my comedy and trust I can call his card he know I can. Both Kevin and Katt was the same to women like all these n***** in this game. Sh***. and still is. Women have never had it good.”
The insider continued to say that Kevin doesn’t want to get into a feud with Leslie and he is reflecting on whether or not Jones was justified in what she said.
What do you think Kevin Hart should do? Should he clap back?
