Kenya Moore hasn’t been a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member since last year and now, she reveals why! So was the beauty fired or not?
As fans know, Kenya was part of the cast for no less than six seasons before exiting the show in 2018.
While on Streetz 94.5 radio show, she revealed the reason why she left, saying that ‘They didn’t make me. Trust me, I was not fired. I know I read these blogs, ‘fired,’ how are you going to get fired if you have an offer on the table? There’s some silliness that you read. It is several reasons, I am beyond it now.’
She went on to argue that ‘Things just didn’t come together for me the way that they should. I decided to take my time, and just do what I wanted to do, which was to focus on my family. I am so happy I did. I am so happy nothing happened to my baby, and she was protected. The outcome is that she’s such a happy baby, and that is all I could’ve ever dreamed of.’
Sure enough, in November of last year, Brooklyn was born and, obviously enough, Kenya is over the moon about it!
Moore explained that since she got pregnant at an older age, the pregnancy was very high risk so she did not want to stay on the show and ‘jeopardize’ it.
After all, the whole pregnancy it felt like at any moment, bad news could come her way and she really did not need any of the drama, ‘nonsense’ and stress that come with being a Housewife.
However, now that her daughter is here and everything is safe, she says she is ‘hypothetically’ back on RHOA!
One source also tells HollywoodLife that she’s looking forward to being back next season as the deal is nearly done.
