Kendall Jenner strangely celebrated the weekend, replacing Kanye West in Coachella
In a comment on The Weekend's Instagram post, Kendall announced that she would be heading the music festival in place of his ex-brother-in-law.
During her last productions, Kendall Jenner attended the Coachella Music Festival (she was left behind in 2020 and 2021 due to epidemics). So it is no surprise to fans that the model stays up to date with last-minute talent deals. But when it comes to commenting on her ex-sister-in-law. This was the case when Kanye West was removed from the Kochila headliner to be replaced by The Weekend.
Kendall reacted with a prayer hand emoji in the section comments when Blind Lights took to their Instagram to announce that he would be holding closing parties for two-weekend events.
Weekend revealed the news when Kanye missed the legendary festival after leaving the Grammys on Monday (April 4). Interestingly, Kenny replaced Travis Scott, who was to headline the Astro World tragedy, where ten people were killed during his concert.
In February, Kanye was first intimidated into leaving Coachella in an Instagram rant, in which fellow Coachella headliner Billie Eilish accused Travis of casting a shadow over the Astro World incident. Kanye said Billie Eilish had to apologize before "performing" in Coachella. Coachella replied to Kanye, "Literally never said anything about Travis. Only helping a fan.
Meanwhile, some fans expressed outrage at Kanye idea of headlining Coachella because he recently harassed former Kim Kardashian on social media, threatening her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. A petition calling for Kanye's resignation had more than 50,000 signatures on Change.org. "For more than a year now, we have seen Kanye threats, Pete and harass, manipulation and hurt Kim," the petition said.
It is ridiculous that he is allowed to do so freely. Coachella (as well as other brands that still work with him) should be embarrassed by themselves and not give him another platform. Kendall might be ready to sign her John Hancock to the roster!
