Kelsea Ballerini Is The New Coach On 'The Voice' - To Judge Comeback Stage Companion Series!
The singing competition is bringing in another coach along with a new Comeback Stage companion series. That being said, the fifth coach is none other than country singer Kelsea Ballerini.
The ten-part series is set to show the mentoring and survival battle of six contestants who unfortunately did not end up in a team during season 15.
That means that even if Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine or Blake Shelton did not turn their chairs for the artists during the blind auditions, they still get another chance.
The six lucky people will be participating in battle rounds in pairs and be judged by Ballerini.
So what can they win? – Apparently, a chance to re-enter the main competition this November.
It was Ballerini who announced the big news on her social media platform of choice today.
She posted a Boomerang featuring herself making a peace sign in front of the show’s logo.
In the caption, she wrote: ‘Y’all, I have been SO excited to share that I am joining the @nbcthevoice family this fall as the fifth coach for the first ever 'Comeback Stage.' It has been such a new and fulfilling challenge, and I have been beyond inspired by the artists I have gotten to meet and work with. I cannot wait for you to fall in love with them.’
The series is expected to air on more than just one digital platform, and that means that YouTube, Instagram TV, NBC.com, The Voice’s app, and Facebook are all included!
Now, fans have no excuse to not watch The Voice's Comeback Stage, set to air its first episode on Monday, September 24.
As for the main show, it’s also premiering its new season on the same day and airing every Monday and Tuesday on NBC at 8 P.M.!
