Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd has been spreading the rumor that Bravo demoted Vicki Gunvalson to friend status for the upcoming season. And now that Gunvalson has announced she started filming this past weekend, Dodd is ready for a fight.
The rumor of Gunvalson’s demotion started on Jeff Lewis’ SiriusXM radio show Jeff Lewis Live earlier this month when he told fans what he had heard from other Bravo celebrities. When he was dishing the juicy gossip, Dodd called in to say that she had heard the same story.
I’m so turned off by how @RHOC_KellyDodd is handling this whole #RHOC situation. It’s not even bitchy, it’s just pathetic and stupid. It’s not even entertaining. She’s acting like a child who didn’t get her way. Get it together girl.

Gunvalson quickly responded to fans on Twitter asking about the rumor, saying that she was “in negotiations” and not to believe anything until it comes from her.
After that post, All About The Tea got their hands on an audio comment that Dodd made in response to Gunvalson on a picture that Tamra Judge posted on Instagram. In the picture, Gunvalson is standing with Judge and Shannon Beador as each of the ladies flash three fingers.
In Dodd’s nasty audio comment that was delivered by an animated pig emoji, she tells Gunvalson, “You wanna f**k with me? You little pig of a f***ing b***h. That’s exactly what’s going to happen to you. Don’t f***ing text me, don’t write me. You block me? I can do whatever you want. You look like s**t, so ha ha ha ha ha.”
As fans know, Gunvalson and Dodd’s friendship exploded during last season’s reunion when Gunvalson accused Dodd of using cocaine. Things started to go downhill a year earlier when Gunvalson and her boyfriend Steve Lodge set up Dodd’s ex-husband Michael with a friend.
Gunvalson announced this past weekend that she and Lodge had just finished their first day of filming, making it clear that she had made a deal to return for Season 14. However, she didn’t clarify if she was still a full-time cast member or a friend of the show.

“Kelly has nothing to do with Vicki’s contract negotiations,” said an insider before Gunvalson announced her return. “No decision has been made by Vicki. But to be very clear, she will NEVER be back as a ‘Friend of a Housewife.’”
Vicki Gunvalson reportedly promised Bravo an engagement and wedding if she returned for another season, and that is what saved her spot on the show.
The ladies have just started filming Season 14 of Real Housewives of Orange County, and new episodes will return to Bravo later this year.
