Kelly Clarkson is currently in quarantine at her “Vintage Valley” Ranch in Montana with her husband Brandon Blackstock, her kids River Rose, 5, and Remington Alexander, 3, plus her step-children Seth, 13, and Savannah, 18, during the COVID-19 pandemic. And, it looks like Clarkson is so happy living a quiet, rural life that she’s decided to sell her home in Los Angeles.
Clarkson relocated with her family to Los Angeles from her home in Henderson, Tennessee when she started filming The Kelly Clarkson Show last year. But, according to TMZ, Clarkson put her LA home on the market earlier this week, and her asking price is just under $10 million.
The listing for the property reveals that the home is 9,839 square feet and it features eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and two half-baths.
Clarkson’s home is located in the San Fernando Valley area of Encino, and it has a rustic meets industrial vibe that the listing describes as “inspirational and practical.” The home features an open floor plan and high wood-beamed ceilings. There is also a gourmet kitchen, and a master suite with a fireplace and private patio.
“Combining art, design and functionality, this masterpiece elevates daily life to a whole new level,” reads the listing.
Outside of the main home, there is a two-level guest house with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. For buyers who love outdoor living, the property features a pool, an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, and a fire pit.
Clarkson has been posting frequent updates on her Instagram page amid the lockdown and has given her nearly 5 million followers a video tour of her Montana property. In a YouTube video, the Because of You singer showed off her family’s one-room log cabin and the ranch that features fire pits and horse runs.
“We literally work almost seven days a week, if not seven days a week, so when we have time off we really like to check out,” explained Clarkson in the video. “It’s nice to get into nature . . . it’s nice to just come out here and sit by the stream and hear the water flowing and be around all the trees.”
Kelly Clarkson said that her beautiful ranch is a nice getaway for her family, and it was something she and Blackstock had dreamed about since they were both kids. “This is what we would call home,” said The Voice coach.
