Kathy Griffin isn’t one to sulk around. In fact, after she got fired from her position on CNN’s New Year’s broadcast, she and her boyfriend stayed at home and “made love.” In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kathy said she spent the night at her house, “with my handsome boyfriend, making love.”
Griffin and Randy Bick – her significant other – initially planned not to watch the broadcast, but after all of their friends began texting them and saying the show was a “trainwreck” without her, they decided to watch it after all.
Kathy said to THP that it was a “dumpster fire.” Back in December of 2017, sources close to Kathy said she was still “devastated,” by Anderson Cooper’s response to the incident.
Reportedly, she lost her friendship with Cooper and it “ended almost immediately after he tweeted about her photo.”
Following the scandal, Kathy said she wanted to do damage control with the celebrity attorney, Lisa Bloom, but allegedly Lisa tried to rope her into doing an infomercial for her.
Griffin said, “it turned out that she wanted me to do an infomercial for her.” The comedienne said when she walked into the room; she didn’t know there would be a giant banner in the background which said, “LisaBloom.com”
Griffin said she didn’t know Lisa would be beside her the whole time and didn’t realize she would be handed a mug that said, “LisaBloom.com.”
As you may know, Bloom is a celebrity attorney responsible for handling women’s cases, most notably, Blac Chyna. Bloom also handled the “revenge porn” case involving Mischa Barton, where her ex-boyfriend filmed their encounters and sold them on the internet.
Despite Kathy’s fall from grace in Hollywood, she remains optimistic for her professional future. The comedienne claims she will come back out on top and might even be a “legend” after her death.
