Kathy Griffin Files Restraining Order Against Her Neighbor
Kathy Griffin has filed a restraining order against someone in her life - and it's not Donald Trump! The comedienne filed a court mandate against her neighbor, Jeffrey Mezger, the CEO of KB Homes after the pair got into a verbal confrontation over the weekend.
In a report from The Blast, the 56-year-old comic filed the order against his wife, Sandra, as well as Mezger himself in a County Court in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, September 19th, 2017, the Huffington Post released a recording of parts of the incident which was taken from security footage.
The audio recording demonstrates Mezger "verbally attacking" Griffin and her boyfriend, Randy Bick, after the couple complained about noise coming from his home.
In the audio, Mezger screams several profanities among his reference to the infamous Donald Trump fiasco where Griffin posed with a prosthetic decapitated head of the POTUS.
The CEO of KB Homes referred to Kathy as a "bald d*ke" and even referred to her as a "c*nt." Randy told the publication that he called the LAPD on Saturday due to "excessive noise" at Mezger's home.
A public spokesperson speaking on behalf of Mezger said he deeply regrets losing his temper and his language at the time doesn't reflect who he is or what he believes. Despite Mezger's bad behavior, KB Home is currently one of the largest publicly traded companies in the world.
It's known for its homebuilding which is both energy and water efficient. In a report from the Wall Street Journal, the company will cut his annual bonus by 25% due to the altercation. Griffin has had an interesting year so far considering the Trump fiasco as well as the death of her sister.
