Kate Middleton wore Princess Diana’s diamond and pearl tiara while in attendance at a very special royal banquet at Buckingham Palace in honor of the Dutch royals King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. It is safe to say that she looked absolutely stunning. Check it out for yourself!
As you can imagine, Kate made her appearance at the event with her husband, Prince William.
Aside from the iconic and absolutely gorgeous crown, Middleton also wore a figure-hugging Alexander McQueen light blue gown.
Kate Middleton has actually sported the historic tiara of her late mother in law before.
It was back in 2015 that Kate put the headpiece on for the first time while at the Queen’s annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace.
But that is not all! Prince William’s wife has also worn Princess Diana-inspired outfits on multiple occasions.
Whether she put on similarly patterned coats or dresses with the same color and style, Kate has made sure to pay tribute and memorialize Lady Di every occasion she has gotten.
As for the banquet, the Duchess was all smiles and really seemed like she enjoyed the whole thing.
The event marked the first UK visit by a Dutch monarch in the last forty years and so, the Queen and her successor, Prince Charles, were also in attendance.
The Queen took this opportunity to talk about pressing topics in front of the 150 guests or so.
Such topics included Brexit, the new Great Britain and Europe partnership.
