Kate Middleton took time out of her busy schedule to meet with Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace this week. Amid rumors of a feud with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted driving alone to meet with Her Majesty.
Middleton waved happily at fans as she passed through the gate of the palace. The Duchess rocked a cream-colored coat for the outing, and it is possible that one of her children was in the back seat.
A few lucky fans shared images and videos of the sighting on social media, confirming that Middleton was alone in the front seat.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family. The photograph, taken by Matt Porteous, shows The Duke and Duchess with their three children at Anmer Hall. This photograph features on Their Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card this year.
Kensington Palace has not revealed why Middleton met the Queen on her own, but the visit comes amid rumors of a major rift between her and Markle.
According to Daily Mail, inside sources claim that Markle was also urged to meet with Elizabeth about the feud — and the Queen is more than happy to help with the situation.
“Her Majesty has seen it all and could offer the Duchess some helpful advice at the moment,” the source shared.
Markle is reportedly difficult to work for and has been overly demanding on her staff. Sources also claim that she turned full-on bridezilla while trying on dresses for her wedding and made Middleton cry at one point.
It is unknown if Markle took the advice and met with the Queen. But experts believe it would be a smart move to get close to Her Majesty in the coming months, especially if the feud gets worse.
Markle and Middleton have not commented on the feud rumors.
The two are expected to join Prince William and Prince Harry at Sandringham for the Christmas holiday. If Markle and Middleton really are at war, then Christmas could be a drama-filled affair for the entire royal family.
