Kate Middleton is firing back at all those Meghan Markle feud rumors. When asked about Markle’s pregnancy, the Duchess of Cambridge did her best to sound enthusiastic about the newest addition to the family.
But was it enough to end the feud rumors?
Middleton’s comments came during her visit to Leicester earlier this week. After being questioned about Markle’s first child with Prince Harry, Middleton happily said she cannot wait for the arrival of her new niece.

Today The Duchess of Cambridge visited @UCL’s Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit to see @UCLPALS’s work into how environment and biology interact to shape the way in which children develop both socially and emotionally. Her Royal Highness was shown @UCLPALS’s MRI Scanning Facility, and learned about their groundbreaking research on how early experience shapes brain function.
“It’s such a special time to have little kiddies. And now a cousin for George, Charlotte, and Louis as well! It’ll be really special,” she explained.
According to The Daily Beast, Middleton also talked about her children with Prince William. She revealed that all of her kids are thrilled about Christmas, and that they have already started decorating for the holidays.
The comments mark the first time Middleton has tried to shut down the feud rumors in public.
Over the past few weeks, sources have claimed that Markle and Middleton are butting heads in private, and that their feud is starting to drive a wedge between William and Harry.
The rumors heated up after Harry and Markle announced their decision to move out of Kensington Palace, where Kate and Middleton call home. The couple is planning on re-locating to an estate near Windsor Castle sometime next year.
Harry and Markle’s new home holds a special place in their hearts. The two tied the knot last May inside St. George’s Chapel. The church is located on the grounds of Windsor Castle, which is also near their new abode.

Although the new house offers more room for Harry and Markle to expand, sources say the actress’s feud with Middleton is what really drove them away.
Middleton and Markle, of course, have not directly commented on their rumored feud. But if Kate Middleton’s recent comments hold any value, their relationship is better off than is being reported.
Meghan Markle is expected to have her first child with Prince Harry sometime in the early part of 2019.
