The actress took to her social app of choice, Instagram, to share with her fans that she needed hospitalization! Apparently, Kate Beckinsale suffered from a very painful ruptured ovarian cyst, and she posted a couple of pics of her in the hospital bed, seemingly crying.

‘Turns out that a ruptured ovarian cyst hurts really bad and morphine makes me cry. So thankful to everyone who looked after me #wobbly❤️,’ she wrote in the caption.

One snap showed her with tear tracks on her cheeks and with a pained expression while the other was of the star curled up in bed, obviously still in pain .

Fans were even more worried to learn about her health scare since the woman is well known for how dedicated she is to leading a healthy lifestyle.

Back in 2016, during an interview with fitness outlet SHAPE, Kate stated: ‘I don’t drink alcohol. I feel [its effects] very quickly, so I have never actually had an entire glass of anything alcoholic. Workouts have really made a big difference in my life. I have a lot of internal energy, and intense exercise helps me channel that energy. I find balance by doing a workout that makes me pour sweat. I never was that girl before, but I am now.’

But it looks like no one is immune to health problems no matter how much they try to avoid all kinds of dangers.

That’s not to say that we shouldn’t still have a healthy lifestyle! Kate’s ‘internal energy’ as she called it, has definitely been showing!

Only three days before her hospitalization, the star made an appearance at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fundraiser and she looked stunning in a silver dress.

At the event, she also made sure to pose on the red carpet at the side of different fellow celebrities, including Gavin Rossdale and she was all smiles. Get well soon, Kate!
