It would be a Christmas miracle like none other. A heart-stricken family who’s two-year-old daughter was declared dead by doctors isn’t ready to let go of their belief in a miracle to bring her back. Now, a viral prayer movement that’s being joined by a virtual who’s who of Christian ministry is joining in with the family as they pray for the resurrection of Olive Alayne Heiligenthal — the daughter of Bethel Church members Andrew and Kalley Heiligenthal. According to reports, little Olive suddenly stopped breathing and was declared dead on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Andrew and Kalley shared a message on Instagram asking for prayer and Christian musicians and leaders such as Kari Jobe, Darlene Zcehech and even American Idol finale Danny Gokey are all praying for Olive to come back to life.
Some have even left messages calling her name “O-Live.” At this time, a cause of death has not been released. The family said that little Olive just stopped breathing.
Each day, Kalley has shared a new message that indicates today is a good day for resurrection. You may see the post that Kalley shared on her Instagram account where she asked for resurrection prayers for Olive below.

We’re asking for prayer. We believe in a Jesus who died and conclusively defeated every grave, holding the keys to resurrection power. We need it for our little Olive Alayne, who stopped breathing yesterday and has been pronounced dead by doctors. We are asking for bold, unified prayers from the global church to stand with us in belief that He will raise this little girl back to life. Her time here is not done, and it is our time to believe boldly, and with confidence wield what King Jesus paid for. It’s time for her to come to life.
Now, the prayer requests are getting global attention and more people are weighing in on the family’s faith and the church’s approach at beliving for a resurrection miracle. Needless to say, negative comments are beginning to flood the family’s Instagram posts and some are accusing the parents of being brainwashed. The family has kept their posts positive and filled with faith.

Day 4 is a really good day for resurrection. All hail, make way for King Jesus! Thank you so much for joining your faith to ours, we feel your strength and radical belief. Keep declaring life over Olive Alayne with us. “It is finished” were His last words before bursting back in resurrection life, so we’re not done. It is finished, so we’re not done. This is awakening. Come alive, Olive!
On the fifth day, Kalley shared a picture of Olive along with the following caption.
“Day 5 is a really good day for resurrection. I’ve never been more grateful for Jesus. He is endlessly worthy of our love, trust, faith and risk.”
What do you think? Do you believe that Olive can come back from the dead? DO you believe prayer and faith can result in resurrection miracles?
