Kanye West is not pulling punches when it comes to his beef with fellow rapper, the Toronto native, Drake. On Thursday, Kanye took to Twitter to express his frustration with Drake for not apologizing to him in a more forthright manner.
As fans of hip-hop culture know, this all began during the summer months right before the release of Pusha-T’s latest album, Daytona, which sparked controversy on more than one front, but notably, with Drake.
Kanye started talking about the matter once again after Drake and his legal team apparently sent him a “clearance request for ‘Say What’s Real,'” meaning that Drake and his record label want the rights to sample another song.
West posted a screenshot of the conversation and wrote that it’s all “faker than wrestling.” Moreover, Kanye said he was mad at Drake’s refusal to apologize, adding that it has gone on for longer than six months and he’s getting sick of it.

The controversial rapper also addressed his involvement with Drake in his feud with Pusha-T, which Kanye was indirectly involved in. Pusha-T is signed to Kanye’s record label, G.O.O.D. Music, and is said to have gotten some of that intimate information on Drake through Kanye himself.
Pusha released his devastating diss-track, “The Story Of Adidon,” to much praise in the rap community. Many have argued that it already deserves a spot in the “best-of” lists.
Fans have since speculated that it was Kanye who first told Pusha about Drake’s child. In “The Story Of Adidon”Pusha-T accused Drake of “hiding” his child with Sophie Brussaux.
On Thursday, West denied the rumors, “I told you I ain’t tell Pusha about your son,” and continued to double down on some of his previous statements from the past.
Furthermore, Kanye believes that Drake’s actions are leading to people getting harmed “out here.” From the outside, it appears as though Kanye is trying to really make things work out with the “Hotline Bling” performer.
The rapper said he has even been trying to reach him for approximately 6 months, and can’t get ahold of him. Suddenly, Kanye shared that Drake had “finally” called him. He tweeted, “Mission Accomplished.”
