Kanye West is making waves once again. On Saturday, the 13th of October, the rapper and fashion designer reactivated his Twitter account following his arrival in Uganda with his wife, Kim Kardashian.
As fans of the Yeezy creator know, Kanye is working on his latest album, Yandhi, right after the release of Ye, and he intends on recording and producing it on the African continent.
Kanye published a 10-minute video called, “Mind Control,” where he spoke about how he and the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, discussed removing the “like” feature and “follower” buttons on Twitter.
Additionally, Kanye, in an allegorical fashion, explained that people were “touching his mind,” through controlling his actions. The rapper suggested to control someone’s actions is also to control their consciousness, adding that social media breeds a herd mentality, where users are encouraged to parrot the political opinions of others for likes and social currency.

The 41-year-old rapper also dished on his recording contract with Sony, adding that they won’t allow him to buy the publishing rights to his music for $8-$9 million dollars.
In the video, Kanye referenced the iconic singer, Prince, who wrote the word “slave” on his face during his litigation battle with Warner Brothers. Kim’s husband also spoke on the house renovations he and his wife are currently undergoing.
Talking about his appearence on Saturday Night Live, the rapper admitted he has a new mantra, “we will say what we feel, we will do what we feel.” West urged his followers to open up their minds, and thus, their hearts.
The College Dropout artist has created a media spectacle in recent months, especially after he was first spotted wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat before the release of Ye. Many people accused Kanye of just being provocative for the sake of promotion. However, it appears as though West really does support Donald Trump after all.
