The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing shows to improvise in ways never thought possible before. The next one up may be Real Housewives of Atlanta.

After the RHOA season 12 reunion was postponed because of the ban on public gatherings, there was a question of whether the Atlanta ladies would be able to rehash the currently airing season online.

At first, the idea didn't seem plausible. It's hard to imagine revisiting the season with the ladies all having to wait their turn to talk via videophone with Andy Cohen only able to virtually be in the middle.

As time passes and the nation buckles down even more, the possibility seems to be increasing as Bravo runs out of new programming to show.

Kandi Burruss went Live on Instagram where she confirmed that the reunion would be held via video conference.

'They let us know the other day that we are going to be … we’re going to have to do, I guess, an online type of reunion situation,'

The clip was reposted by blogs and fan pages. Fans of the show are not receiving the news well.

Housewives of ATL Instagram page posted the clip.

'Bravo needs to wait! We need the ladies sitting on the couch together ugh,' wrote one.

'Ok this is wack. People will be talking over one another annnnnd this may not even look right on tv vs a phone,' added another.

'Just test everyone for corona , cast, crew, make up , hair, food, production etc .. If everyone passes then have them all work for that day at a disclosed location and film the damn reunion wtf !!!!!!!!' suggested one.

This fan was disappointed when they wrote: 'That’s absolutely ridiculous why rush the process, instead of waiting till the time is right, so we can actually have a great reunion. That’s annoying'

Nene Leakes who also went live said that she didn't know anything about it. However, she commented under the fan page that Kandi was 'the puppet master.'

What do you think about these alleged new plans?
