Kandi Burruss Reportedly Joins The Cast Of ‘Chicago’ On Broadway After Tiny & Co. Release New Songs Without Her

Just last month everyone found out the sad news that Xscape will continue to make music but without Kandi Burruss. She revealed the controversial decision not to join them in the venture because she was preparing for Broadway among a few more things.
Now, People unveils that fact that Kandi landed a role in the Broadway musical ‘Chicago.’
According to People magazine, Kandi will be playing the role of Mama Morton, and she’s scheduled to begin the eight-week run next year at the beginning of January.
Meanwhile, she has been touring with Xscape on the 22-city tour because even if she decided to stop making new music with them it looks like touring with Xscape is not a problem for her.
Kandi’s RHOA co-star NeNe Leakes has also been able to enjoy her time on Broadway back in 2014 when she starred in the production of Cinderella, and she played the wicked stepmother.
Xscape has been able to record not just one, but two new songs without Kandi. The ladies unleashed the new tracks, ‘Dream Killa’ and ‘Wifed Up’ as a three-woman show.
And to top it all off, the ladies are under new management now as it was recently reported.
There was also an extraordinary moment between Kandi and Tamika Scott during a concert. While she was on stage, Tamika apologized to the RHOA star for all the pain and hurt that she might have caused her in the past.
Kandi’s eyes became all teary, and Tamika spoke about her faith and belief in Jesus Christ. She also confessed that she was very grateful that her friend and band-mate had decided to forgive her for everything.
