Kandi Burruss’ next reality TV show called Haute Lanta was supposed to see the RHOA star take on a behind-the-scenes role as an executive producer. Unfortunately, recent reports are claiming that she won’t get this fantastic opportunity anymore because the show has been canceled.
This might have happened due to one of Kandi’s RHOA co-stars.
The Jasmine Brand reports that the non-scripted TV show has been completely ditched ‘thanks to’ Marlo Hampton who was supposed to star as the show’s main personality.
The site reported that she was too demanding and was not open to compromise on her requests at all.

‘She had too many demands, and she wasn’t willing to budge,’ a source said. ‘She has some star power, but for a new show, there’s not much of a budget. Marlo wanted too much.’
The insider also said that she demanded things like ‘first class flights,’ making her ‘too difficult to work with.’
The site also reported that Bravo was not on board with Marlo leaving the show for another network, WeTV which was supposed to host Haute Lanta.
Haute Lanta was supposed to begin shooting in July 2018, and it seems that the whole project was ditched. Kandi did not say anything about his by now, so we’ll just have to wait and see if she comments anything.
