The current president just had to mock Kamala Harris after she decided to step out of the upcoming presidential race next year. However, it turns out that she still had the last laugh by simply reminding Donald Trump of his legal problems!
Earlier today, Kamala announced that giving up the presidential race was one of the hardest things she’d ever have to do.
Hearing this, the POTUS seemingly felt like bidding her farewell but his unusually empathetic tweet about it definitely seemed out of character and not genuine at all!
‘Too bad. We will miss you Kamala!’ Trump wrote sarcastically.
It did not take long for Kamala to clap back by reminding him that he won’t have to miss her for long since she’ll make sure to be at his trial: ‘Don’t worry, Mr. President. I’ll see you at your trial.’
That diss made total sense since currently, there is an impeachment inquiry against the POTUS.
It was launched back in September after a whistleblower stated that Donald Trump pressured Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, to investigate Joe Biden as well as the U.S. Vice President’s son, Hunter.
Allegedly, the discussion with Zelensky happened over the phone back in July just a week after Trump decided to hold back $400 million in military aid to the other country.
Naturally, this sparked suspicions that there was some ‘quid pro quo’ taking place.
The very first impeachment inquiry is set to take place tomorrow, December 4 and if sufficient evidence of his involvement will be found, a trial will be held by the Senate.
Here’s where Kamala’s vote would matter so maybe Trump really was trying to play nice in his tweet!
