Kailyn Lowry is in hot water after she admitted that when a vaccine for coronavirus is finally created, she has no plans to vaccinate herself, not her sons! As you can imagine, fans of the Teen Mom star were outraged by her point of view and did not hesitate to let her know why she was wrong.
It all started with a follower asking her about it on Twitter.
The question read: ‘I’m curious kail, when a vaccine for this virus is made will you or the kids get one?’
In response, Kailyn wrote: ‘Absolutely not.’
Kailyn is a mother of three already and also pregnant with a fourth and fans know that she is an ‘anti-vaxxer’ as she’s been very open about it.
In fact, this is not even the first time she gets backlash for being so against life-saving vaccines.
Last year she was forced to respond to more criticism after she admitted that she’d decided not to vaccinate her third son, Lux.
While on her Coffee Convos podcast with co-host Lindsie Chrisley, she stated: ‘He is 18 months and he is not vaccinated. He hasn’t ever really been sick, and for me, I just think the more research that I do, and the more educated I’ve become, I just don’t vaccinate him.’
At the time, one fan slammed her saying that: ‘My problem isn’t with your choice to not vaccinate, it’s that you’re endorsing false information about vaccines and autism on your podcast that reaches many young women and mothers. Netflix documentaries and google are not reliable sources for medical info.’
Similarly, another wrote: ‘I just hope that when people say they’ve ‘done research’ that they mean clinical trials and not mommy blogs. There are more dangerous chemicals in a chicken nugget than a vaccine 🤷🏼♀️.’
Obviously, there were hundreds of other such messages slamming Kailyn for taking such a dangerous decision, not only for her own kids but also for others while also spreading misinformation through her platform.
