It turns out that there is no bad blood between Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift after Kacey seemed to support Kid Rock’s sexist message. As you may know, this all started with an alleged ‘like’ Musgraves supposedly left under Kid Rock’s rant, which ultimately really infuriated Taylor’s fans.
Now, she made sure to address the situation and set things straight.
According to Kacey, the snapshot that ‘proved’ she ‘liked’ the man’s sexist rant about Taylor is in fact fake!
She took to Twitter to drop an official statement that reads: ‘Last week I was dragged just because of how liberal I am and anybody that knows me also knows how outspoken I am about equality and respect. I ave connected with Taylor – she knows this is NOT how I feel and we’re cool. That was a manipulated image, (I do not even follow Kid Rock), and I would NEVERRR support a message promoting such disgusting misogyny.’
Some people were not sure she was telling the truth since before this statement she tweeted that her account had been hacked, confusing fans.
‘yoooo – my account was hacked. I have been working all day and just got on Twitter,’ she said in response to the liked tweet at first.
‘Wait so I am confused, were you hacked or was the image manipulated?’ one user asked.
The singer cleared things out once again, writing that: ‘Thought I had been hacked until I found out about the manipulated image.’
That makes so much more sense! And in case you still think things are not actually ‘cool’ between Kacey and Taylor, the latter ‘liked’ her post, proving she has nothing against the fellow songstress.
