Justin Theroux isn’t keen to make public appearances anytime soon. The tabloids have been all over Jen and Justin’s breakup in the last week, and for that reason, we can assume, the actor canceled his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
In the schedule which was released on Monday, Justin’s name was not on the list. After seven years together, Theroux and Aniston who are both 49, revealed they would break up after nine years together.
Celebrity Insider reported earlier that the couple released a statement dispelling rumors and saying anything that doesn’t come directly from them is merely speculation.
It read, “this decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year.” It went on to comment on the manner in which tabloids sensationalize topics for readership and views.
Their statement was a preemptive attempt at nipping speculation at the bud. They said, “we wanted to convey the truth directly.”
According to Us Weekly, Justin loved New York, and Jennifer was more of an LA kind of girl. This fundamental difference proved to be one of the reasons for their relationship falling apart.
A source said to us, “Jen wanted to live in The Big Apple but didn’t end up liking it. At heart, she is a California girl and wasn’t going to make it work in New York City. It gets too cold there.”
The insider alleged, “Justin being allowed to spend so much time in New York is what killed the marriage.” Aniston believed if he were away from home he would miss her, but it turns out to be the opposite.
The last time Aniston and Theroux were seen together was in Mexico with Jason Bateman and his spouse, Amanda Anka. An insider said Justin played a role in trying to keep their marriage together. However, it proved unfruitful.
