A little more than one year after they secretly tied the knot in a New York courthouse, Justin and Hailey Bieber have said “I do” again. This time, the couple exchanged vows in a religious ceremony at sunset in front of family and friends at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina. Just hours later, Justin gave his 119 million Instagram followers their first look at the bride and groom on their big day.
The 25-year-old Baby singer posted two black-and-white pics of himself with his 22-year-old bride with “The Biebers” written in the corner of the snaps along with the September 30th wedding date, and in the caption Justin wrote that his “bride is 🔥.”
The newlyweds appear to be posing in a photo booth, and in the first pic the duo share a kiss as Hailey adjusts Justin’s bowtie. In the second, Hailey has her arms on Justin’s shoulders as she sticks her tongue out toward the camera and Justin gives a silly look.
According to People Magazine, there were 154 guests at the ceremony – which took place at Somerset Chapel – including Hailey’s fellow models Kendall Jenner, Camila Morrone, Jourdon Dunn, and Joan Smalls. Afterward, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and dinner at the reception in Wilson Ballroom, which featured a performance from R&B star Daniel Caesar.
Celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss was in charge of planning the wedding weekend, which included a rehearsal dinner at Moreland Landing where guests arrived on speed boats and enjoyed an oyster roast and a dance party. There was also bowling, a water gun fight, and a group screening of The Notebook.
Just before the wedding ceremony, Justin posted a pic of the wedding gift he bought himself – a new Audemars Piguet watch.
Insiders say that Hailey was the one who was most involved in the wedding planning, and Justin let her “take the lead.”
“He jokes that life is better when Hailey is in charge,” revealed a source.
They added that Justin Bieber was “really relaxed” in the days leading up to the wedding to Hailey Bieber since they were already married. “This is just a party,” said the insider.
