Justin Bieber Gets Backlash After Defending Chris Brown’s ‘Mistake’ - Tells People To Focus On His 'Talent'
Justin Bieber doesn’t think Chris Brown should be judged for his actions when it comes to his career. As far as he’s concerned, people should just focus on his talent not the mistakes he's made in his personal life.
However, it turns out that most fans don’t really agree!
It all started when Justin stated that Chris Brown as an artist is like the sum of Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur added together!
As you may know, Justin and Chris have been friends for quite some time so it doesn’t come as a surprise that he defended him, but that did not help avoid the outrage from his IG followers.
The singer was apparently sick and tired of all the hate Chris Brown has been getting so he took to social media to say: ‘MJ + 2 Pac = CB’
And that was not all! He went on: ‘Everyone wants to wait till people die To give them the credit they deserve. I am calling it now when CB passes away after a long life, you'll miss what you had in front of you the entire time … trust me watch and see. the people who have overlooked this man’s talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! Love you.’
As you can imagine, people immediately assumed that the mistake he was talking about was his assault of former girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009.
Here are a few reactions to Justin’s defense of Chris: ‘I love you Justin but I can’t agree with you on this. Beating a woman isn’t just a mistake.’/ ‘You can’t respect Rihanna if you are supporting Chris. Rihanna is more legendary that is facts. If u beat Hailey would u think that was a mistake we should get over?’ / ‘DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ISN’T A MISTAKE!’
Meanwhile, others were angered by the comparison – they thought it was disrespectful to Michael Jackson and Tupac!
