Julianna Margulies is an actress and also the mother of a 10-year-old son named Kieran so she should be able to give good pieces of advice on parenting! The star was a guest on Good Morning America today, and aside from promoting her brand new series called Dietland, she also had a few words of wisdom for a fellow actor and parent.
Margulies told her former ER co-star George Clooney who is the father of 11 months old twins Ella and Alexander that: ‘He does not need advice from me! He is married to Amal. She is a human rights lawyer. We had a little email exchange, and I was asking how he is doing, and he said, ‘I just cannot believe there is so much poop.’’
‘And I said, ‘Brace yourself, my friend. They haven’t even started eating solids yet.’’
The actress then joked about her and her husband’s experience with their child, saying: ‘My husband [Keith Lieberthal] and I used to call them sliders. They go up right up the back.’
As you may be aware, Clooney and Margulies played one of the most beloved couples on TV on the show ER.
They portrayed Dr. Doug Ross and nurse Carol Hathaway on the series that ran from 1994 to 2009.
Even though it’s been so long since the show ended, the actress revealed that now that it’s on Hulu, she is getting recognized because of the character again these days.
‘I feel very lucky. Timing sometimes is everything. Hulu’s been streaming ER, and I have been off that show for 18 years and all of a sudden this younger generation is saying, ‘Wait. Aren’t you Carol Hathaway?’ And it is just throwing me back. It is amazing how that show just keeps living, and I am so grateful.’
