The Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts seems to be trying hard to sell her house in Hawaii. The beachfront property is now up for $19.5 million, which is 35% less than when it put up for sale for the first time at $30 million, last year. The North Shore property in Kauai is placed at the center of the Hanalei Bay and it comes together with home built in the 1917 plantation-style, plus a guest house, or at least that’s the information available from Neal Norman, listing agent at the Hawaii Life Real Estate.
And if you have $19.5 million to spare and you’re not convinced, you might also want to know that there are 213 feet of beach with fine sand found at the edge of the property. Norman declared that the property is only expecting the one and only buyer who will want to live in it for as long as he’ll be able to. It’s useful to mention that earlier this year, Norman sold a home on the North Shore for $11.4 million in more than a month for Mike Fleiss, the Bachelor creator.

The estate is called Faye Residence, after the former owner Hans Peter Faye, who was a sugar plantation manager. It totals 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, having almost 3,800 square feet of space where you can live. The main house is painted in a red shade and it has beamed ceilings, walls of windows and a kitchen made in a galley-style. Both buildings include a covered porch facing the ocean for the moments where you want to relax.
Julia Roberts had bought the property for around $13 million five years ago, according to the records, while Business News reported for the first time the price cut for the property. In any case, you know where to go if you search for some coins and want to buy the house!
